Had an unexpectedly good sail up at Whitstable (Tankerton) this morning with Grawp. I was only expecting a bit of light wind messing around, but it turned out to be a day of comforatble planing on a 7.0 and Rocket 61. The only fly in the ointment was the longshore drift with the tide on the push which left me with a monstrous walk of shame after the first hour and a half. Must watch out for that next time... anyway, sailed from 9.00am - 11.30 with a half hour gap in the middle chatting on the beach. Was planning to head to Bedgebury for a ride this afternoon, but feel pretty knackered after a very busy week. Might just go for a spin on the local trails instead....
